SO for those that want to have an idea of how big or small these shorts run...I'm 5'7, 130 lbs, and I have a "booty" as a previous clever reviewer used :) I'm a size 4 in jeans/skirts/dresses/etc., I wear a medium in sweatpants because I don't like the life to be sucked out of me when I'm trying to relax.Because of the warnings that these shorts run small, I ordered a Medium; they fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I actually ordered 3 pairs (different colors, coral, teal and blue). Please remember ladies, 10+ years ago, designers made a "vanity" adjustment to the sizes ( ex: 8 became a 6, 10 became an 8, etc). I have washed and dried both pairs (teal and black) and neither shrank. The only problem I had was the end of the ties, the caps came off and I lost 2. I remembered to check the teal pair before washing and had no problem.
