I'm pleased to report the build quality seems to be really good. Fabric, seams, zippers, stitching, clips (removable shoulder strap), & straps all feel sturdy. I chose it because it advertised standing upright when empty (which it does). I also like that the top can double as a small table. I was impressed with the quality of the stainless steel cutlery (the knives are serrated enough to be useful!) , plastic glasses (which have a nice sturdy feel), bamboo cutting board & stainless steel salt/pepper shakers (although the clear plastic caps could get lost pretty easily...not the manufacturer's fault, just saying). The wooden-handled stainless steel cheese/condiment knife is more serrated & feels sturdy. The napkins & wood-handled corkscrew are nice touches. Compared to the quality of the other items, the plates seem slightly a smidge cheap. But only a smidge. I'm being nit-picky.
