Review: Excellent bang for the buck - This is NOT a $400 GHD. It is not as sturdy or as versatile as that. It is also far less expensive, heavy and bulky. Pros -- low price and excellent value Adjustable angle -- let's you make various parts of range of motion the most challenging. Portability and stores in small space -- literally under 30 seconds to unfold and set it up, or to fold it and set it aside. Split pad -- many similar products feature a single, solid pad. That can be very uncomfortable for males. No issue with this product. Cons -- I would exercise extreme caution if you are doing very dynamic movements, or if you are very heavy. The base of the support fits into one of three lips that keep it in place. If you unweight it enough for the base to slip out of that, you are going face first into the ground. I have not had that happen or felt close to it but I weigh under 150 pounds (70kgs). If you are hoping for something as sturdy and versatile as a high-end GHD, you are going to be disappointed. If you want a device that is small, lightweight and affordable and you have realistic expectations of it, you will find this to be an good addition to your home gym.

The bar to adjust the angle is crooked and I have to twist it and force it to it’s locking latches. This made the unit unacceptable for me. The pads are thin. Also the piece that holds your feet is a good feature but it wiggles around a lot. There is a lot of play on it. Edit: Upgraded from 2 stars to 4. Seller promptly replaced the defective one. Having received an acceptable unit, it is light, easily carried, and good for home use. It’s still kinda flimsly and would not recommend it to anyone heavier than 180#. I am going to keep a eye on it.

**Q: Can the bars be used for dips?**
A: I would not. I'm a relatively light weight but I would not feel secure or trust the chair to support my weight. I have decent upper body strength and relatively good balance and could probably use it that way but if fatigue sets in or if you are attempting to work to failure, I could see lots going wrong. The height adjustment bar does not lock but is basically wedged into place by your body weight when doing low back hyper extensions and that feels perfectly secure due to your body weight. The unit is relatively light, not heavy enough to support the body weight of most people placing their full body weight on the handle bars.

**Q: folding foldable height**
A: I think you are asking about the dimensions when folded up?   If you retract the pad as much as possible, the folded dimensions are 43" long x 23" wide (at the handles) x 9" thick.

**Q: does anyone know if you can get replacement pads where your ankle touches the pads?**
A: So I’ve never replaced these pads but you got me thinking. I did a quick search here on Amazon for “Roman Chair Replacement Roller Pads. A few options came up, here’s one example. Hope it helps... **Q: I’m 6’3 , 210lb does this bench support 6’3 hight for back excersise?**
A: This item is better for people with smaller feet....I think it’s better for women 

The ankle holder is kinda awkward...I suggest getting the model that is bigger....look at pics and be careful to see that the foot and ankle area seem big enough 

I’m heavier but shorter than you...but the thigh cushion does not go low enough and the middle space is actually a bit too narrow and shallow for my “package” and uncomfortable at the foot placement and ankle strap area

I purchased this as a gift for my husband, who is 6'4" and about 230 lbs. We were pleasantly surprised to see how well this is made. Very simple to assemble and easily adjustable to fit a range of heights (I am 5’8”). We opted not to put the handles on - you don’t really need them- and they are just a bit too narrow and fell to close for comfort. But very sturdy, no rocking or tipping! Great price for a piece of home gym equipment.
