My insurance company wont do chip repair and wont approve an oem windshield so i gave this a go when I got a nice stone chip. First and foremost this is a well made kit and the suction cups stay put. Direction are clear and easy to follow. Despite my best efforts (even using a heat gun and a uv light as it was a colder cloudy day. This didnt do a lot to fill in the chip. Im going to try again when its warmer and sunny but I dont have high hopes. One other note the resin smells HORRIBLE. I slilled a little on my hands and despite washing with everything I could think of (incleding acetone, alcohol, industrial hand cleaner, kerosene) i could still smell this 2 days latter. Oh and it triggered a migraine for me so there is that. WEAR GLOVES!Update I tied a second go and it worked much better. Still can see the chip but it is a lot less noticable. After applying the treatment the crack looks better but I can still see some spider like lines.
