I so wish this had a middle layer! I can see how this maybe a bit tricky to clean if you don’t have a patio or yard to hose down. I have a small patio but wanted to have a designated area we’re both dogs can go and I wouldn’t have to clean the concrete. Both my dogs used it right away male and female. I put an orange cone for my male dog so he could maybe use it for aiming but he actually went without it he even stands on the outside and lifts his legs and pees on the grass. They still go in other areas cause they’ve never been told not to but most of the time it’s on the potty and when they do I praise them. The large is a good size for my two dogs one is 15 lbs and the other 11lbs, but poops need to be picked up daily of course so there’s room to go more. My male dog like last to move in a circle as he poops so he needs room. It’s only been about a week and I just hosed the grass down on the patio near our apartments grass in the front yard. I wish I would have washed it down on the grass it would have been easier, I dried the tray and out the extra grass I got and hung the other one to dry. It does have a funny scent but you have to be really close to it to smell it. I don’t think I would use this inside without a pee pad underneath since moving it around to clean it maybe kind of messy.

These little turf pads have been life savers. I was having a **very** hard time potty training my chihuahua and thought I’d try a couple of these out. He’s completely potty trained now! Took about a month to see the improvement - highly recommend these!Tip: if you don’t have easy access to a hose to rinse the turf after each use, put potty pads underneath the turf to absorb instantly and make transporting to a water source less “risky.” Trying to move the trays when there’s nothing under the turf to absorb anything could be messy.

Great product. the only tip i have is even though I have a mini golden doodle i bought the large pad after first buying the small. She likes to walk around before she goes and the large is perfect.

Puppy only likes peeing in grass which isn't an option in the rock landscaped backyard. He took to this Tinkle Turf immediately. Such a great option for our back patio. Got the extra replacement one just to make it easier when I need to clean the other one. Puppy does try to eat it, though...which he tries to everything right now. No thumbs, only mouth to observe world- put everything in mouth. 🤷

Only one negative my puppies loved laying in it , if I was gone the urine tea sorbet up to the puppies 😢. Would be nice if small grate between pan and puppies to solve that issue , hated waging pee bellies all the time . But they used it all the time

Overpriced for what it is

I love the size and the extra grass mat but it is not sturdy enough to withstand puppies chewing on the grass mats. After 3 days the corners are bald and fake grass is inside the puppy poop from eating it. I have now had them 3 weeks and the grass mat has the corners chewed off and holes in the middle of big bald spots. Definitely not for pups!
