So far I think it helps. I bought 3 . One for each panel of total glass wall. Since I did it by myself, I managed to get a handprint on the inside of film. It took a long time to get all the bubbles out. The little squeegee that came with product does leave little scratches on the film. It took two people two situate it properly onto a 23" x 70" window, but it went on easily. Working out the bubbles took a little extra time, but well worth the effort. If you're outside in the daylight and press your face against the glass, you can see a little bit inside (if there is a light source like a TV or lamp). Otherwise, the mirror effect is perfect during the daytime. From 2" away and beyond the mirror effect WORKS GREAT! You'll be able to see out, while outsiders cannot see in.
