I'm using it as an auxilliary monitor for my. Sony CX405. camcorder. Powered using NP-F970 battery, which has lasted for more than five hours of recording and still had around 25% charge remaining. It also has good resolution, but all my shooting has been indoors. You can invert and/or reverse the display if needed. The mounting bracket is metric thread and not the standard 1/4-20 thread for photo mounting. I used a tap to re-thread.
