Of course nothing replaces the wheaty flavor of real crackers, but these large disks come close and work fantastic for dips! I used these with a hot artichoke dip and they held up and tasted great. I snack on them plain with a low carb beer when I want that old familiar junk food feeling. They are not all oily and greasy like the small parmesan crisps. The only drawback is that once you remove the exterior plastic, the box they are in is not airtight and they will get stale if you don't put them in a ziplock bag.. and even then they kinda get stale. Also.. I can eat a box in one sitting and for close to five dollars a box, that's a little spendy. But they've expanded my low carb snack repertoire and given me something to use in dips, so they're occasionally worth the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 1.5 ounce of content in the box instead of 2.5 ! *by E***A on July 28, 2021* Bogus Amazon Reviews:For those that complain about cost - I am on the side of the vendor. Parmesan Cheese is very salty. There is no additional salt added.A lot of folks complained about getting broken pieces or crumbs. I beleive the vendor addressed this by using semi-rigid small boxesThe GoodI received the 4 pack in a nice rigid cardboard box. Inside that box there 4 small boxes (about the size of a box of floppy disks). They were individually shrink wrapped. Very well packaged and boutiquey.I opened one of the packages and found the crackers to be intact, criunchy, and tasty. You need to dip them in some unseasoned avocado or Greek yogurt/Labneh to dilute some of the saltiness. They were perfectly baked and not bunt. No funky flavorsl just salty parmesan cheese.The BadI looked in the back at the nutrition facts label and noticed that I was supposed tp get 8 crackers but there were only 5 in that first box I opened. I thought maybe these were thicker and heavier crisps and this is why I only got 5. So I pulled out my food scale and weighed them. They were 8.5 grams each as advertised but I only got 5 crisps instead of 8. . So box1 had 1.5 ounces of product! The other 3 boxes had 1.9, 2. and 2.5. So I paid for a total of 10 ounces of product (2.5noz x4) but received less than 8. Dissapointing.The SolutionBecause the crackers don't stack like ruffles you are not always going to be able to get 8 8.5 gm crackers in a semi rigid box. You can thow them in a bag but after shipping the customer will get crumbs or broken pieces at best. So I get it; but the vendor needs to be more honest and change their packaging to reflect what is inside eg 1.5-2.5 ounces and 5-8 crackers. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Taste is fine but prefer Just the Cheese for several reasons *by S***R on May 9, 2019* First of all, i am a Just the Cheese fan for a low-carb staple i can carry easily in my purse. i purchased these cheese crisps for comparison and while the taste is similar and fine, there are several reasons why i will stick with Just the Cheese. This is the second time i ordered these Proudly Pure Parmesan Crisps. The first time they never came and amazon refunded my order. This time they came but delayed my whole order by another week. The crisps are very thin and came with broken ones in each package; Just the Cheese crisps are thicker and rarely come broken. The packaging is not travel friendly: will have to put several in a baggie in my purse, which means it will be all crumbs when actually eaten. Just the Cheese box comes with 12 separate 2-crisp packages, each with a bit of paper board inside (like Almond Joy) to keep them from breaking. BTW my preferred flavor in Just the Cheese is Aged Cheddar.
