But could be better *by F***R on Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2019* Update Feb 2020:According tonthe state smog referee my truck was one of the few exeptions in this year vehicle sonthey are not carb legal. If you own a 2002 tahoe and live in California do your research. Or else you will be like me and you will have go back to the junk yard and get some and pay extra for the plates because they are now a month oast due.First of bought this because they were cheap and CA carb compliant.The paint is just a protective cover for shipment you will need to do a better job than me to strip, prime, and paint.Afterwards do your self a favor and replace all the hardware. I went to Lowe's and got some stainless steel bolts with washers and locking washers and it will be more secure.I bought the ls3 header bolts from ICT billet it's a much bigger hear size and firs better.The passenger side header need to be moved a bit from factory is very snug to the spark plug even with the fire jacket im pretty sure it may melt the boot.They have a nice sound to them I'm hoping it doesn't melt my spark plug boot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not bad!! Much better shifts! *by F***G on Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2017* Great for the price, sadly they did not come with flange gaskets. Bought both Walker gaskets for the flange. Make sure to soak the flange nuts with Kroil Oil, or PB at least 3-4 times over the span of a few days before you plan to change the headers. Mine would only come off with an impact and one nut would not even work with the impact. Manifold bolts and heat shields are all 10mm, do your best not to round any out. The heat shields are NOT reused. Overall, very nice product, I agree with the other reviewer my truck generates a LOT more power. I also used the aircraft cleaner method and the high temp paint and baked in the oven. Truck idles quieter, deeper tone, very noticeable acceleration difference and smoother shifting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for what I needed *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2020* Uf you have an 06 Silverado and want some headers thede will work without the steering column hitting it. Only down fall is they come painted. I took it to a machine shop and had them cook it in there vat. Then i used a 1200 degree paint black and put the thinnest coat just to cover the metal no more.
