First you would have to punch holes in the sheets to correspond to where you want to place the fasteners, usually at the side or at the top of the sheets. There is a piece of equipment that will punch the holes on 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper if you don't have a hole puncher. You then take the longer piece and bend the ends so you can fit them through the holes. When fitted take the other piece with the two holes at the ends and fit over the prongs you have pushed through the holes. Bend the prongs down to lie flat then slid the bands on the other piece to secure the prongs. **Q: How many boxes of 50 are in this purchase? The Ad states 2 Pack but a review stated only 1 box of 50 arrived.** A: Thank you for your inquiry. This is a box of 50. I apologize for the reference to a "2pk".
