With almost every phone I've had, I'll usually get three or four cases before I settle on one that I really like. I'm not a big fan of cases like Otterbox or Lifeproof because they make my phone way too bulky, but I also didn't want to stick with a decal as my phone's only protection.Enter the Magpul, one of the best cases I've had in a while. The Magpul is made of some sort of TPU, but doesn't feel soft to the touch. My best description of its texture is that it's like a car's dashboard; it's rough, but not uncomfortably so. The lines criss-crossing the case are subtle but provide some extra grip on the phone, which is nice. In terms of protection, this is as much protection as you'll get without springing for a dual layer case like the Otterbox Commuter. The camera is sufficiently protected by about two millimeters, and the "lip" of the case rises above the screen about a millimeter and a half. Pair this case with a good screen protector and you're golden. I have dropped this screen down onto concrete by accident and my phone didn't get scratched at all.One nag I do have is the headphone slot of the case. Although it's better than some cases I've tested, some headphone cables still don't work when I have the case on because of its thickness. Not a huge deal, but may be a concern for some.All in all, great everyday case. Feels solid and protects the iPhone. I love the fact that it covers the home and volume buttons. Also like the idea that the volume button curves out so its easier to use. I got the OD green I thought it was gray at first but once I stepped out of the house I was able to confirm that it's Olive green, which I love! :)The case looks heavy duty but it doesn't add to much bulk, it's not slippery like other silicone or tpu cases out there. It's easy to put in and out of the case if needed. I usually don't drop my phones but I feel confident that this case will protect the phone from anything below the waist drops. Anything higher you'll probably need to get bit more heavier duty case.Overall I am very happy with the case and for the price I would buy it again or gift it to someone who's looking for a solid iPhone 6 case. This has nothing to do with the case but I recommend everyOne to buy a back protector if you are putting on any case for the iPhone 6/6 plus. When I had this case for my 4s I had an issue where the top left corner where the switch to flip from Vibrate/ Silent to Sound was and it would constantly come undone in my pocket. This case however oddly enough always comes out at the bottom right. Probably more so the shape of my thighs than anything but with this case it does it. Ive had other cases that were of similar tensile strength but for whatever reason the phone frequently comes out at the bottom right corner. I am keeping it 5 stars just because it is most likely my thigh but still.Other than that, fantastic case. Love the OD green color and the feel is nice in the hands, nice and grippy and tough.
