I am an average guy, retired military, fit. The holster will NOT accommodate a 1911 Colt /clone, ditto with the Beretta 92 or the Taurus PT99. I have all of these. I am keeping it because it is a good fit for my Colt Commander, which is definitely smaller than these guns, and will work with my 45ACP revolver with 2" barrel. So not a complete loss. Can be used for Walther PP sized pistols and for Makarov 9x18 pistols as well. The rig is good, but I have not thought about running while wearing this shoulder holster, because I don't know if the pistol will slide out. I have a friend who's looking at making mods to this holster for that, so if I need to run when working for a private investigator, the pistol will not drop out and cause me problems in public.
