I like how the dates aren't written in so you can start the planner any time of year. As a "life planner", I find it equally good. I love the awareness and vision section at the start. It helped focus on what is important to me and how I see my future. The 1 year goals section was useful to fine tune what I want to achieve this year and the 3month goals were great for turning my 1 year goals into manageable sizes and action steps. I love how the weekly pages have a habit tracker and goals. I'm a serious procrastinator and will put things off until the last minute but I feel this planner is helping me change my ways. I use all the sections and I think it definitely helps get my life on track to how I want it, helping me see my goals clearly and work toward them as well as being a good daily diary. Now for the negatives: The stickers that come with it are handy although I think there could be more of the circle ones. For example, there is only 6 of the circle money stickers (Dollar symbol, if you're interested) so you'd be six short if you put one on each pay day every month. The planner came with the elastic strap so tight on the cover it made little dents on the top and bottom of the cover. Not really an issue for me but if this was a gift I wouldn't have been pleased. The monthly pages start on a Sunday but the weeks start on a Monday. I dislike this set up. I would say this planner can be useful for anyone, students as well. Overall, I would highly recommend. It’s a bit woo woo in places (it has a tracker for spiritual growth etc) but as weekly planner it has been really useful to my ADHD brain. You do have to fill your own dates in but I don’t mind that, and I like taking moments to use the monthly goals and reflection pages. I like the layout and the habits, weekly goals and focuses are useful. My only quibble is that in the monthly calendar view the weeks start on Sunday - as a visual person who does weekend work this messes with my head! I guess I could just scribble it out. This is a pretty planner which I keep at home, I wouldn’t carry it around with me as it’s pretty bulky and seems more like a personal tool than an on the go planner, but it’s good for sitting on the bedside table and taking the time to go through every day. It doesn’t drip everywhere have different sections but it has three bookmarks to keep your places - I got some page tabs to help with the flipping back and forth. I got one that was gray on gray & couldn't see it well.** A: No, the ink is a soft gray and the paper is a soft white. I have the wine red one, and assuming all the internal printing is identical, it is not high-contrast. The dot grid is very fine, which is good if you want it to be unobtrusive underneath your handwriting in pencil/pen, but may not be bold enough if you require high-contrast printing for vision reasons. **Q: Does it stay open on its own?** A: Yes. The pages will lay flat if you want them to stay open. When the planner is new, the book feels well bound and tight, but as soon as you use it, it responds to your needs. It easily stays open to write in the pages. You can leave the book open on a desk as your working calendar. I am currently using the 13th month (January 2022) of my dated planner from 2021. I have carried it everywhere. Every page is intact, still safely bound. I can open any page flat to write. I stick in beautiful stamps, ticket stubs, memorable cookie fortunes, business cards from restaurants where I enjoyed good food and good company. I make my daily planner a memory book by year end. All those extra pages, I use for my purposes, not necessarily for what is printed on the page. This planner is a gem for me. The quality of the production for past Legend planners was superb. I hope the sellers stay with their past production suppliers for future years. It is really a quality product. I love it. **Q: Do you have to fill in your own dates?** A: Yes. To tack onto another answer, you fill in your own date numbers for months and weeks, but it does print the weeks as Monday through Sunday (European style) and the months as Sunday through Saturday (American style). If you start mid-week and go for a whole year, you might need to sketch in one more weekly layout at the back if you fill the whole thing. **Q: Does the planner lay flat when opened?** A: Yes. The pages open well and lay flat for writing. If you choose to leave the planner open on a desk as an active calendar, it will work as needed. The well bound book responds to your uses. When the planner is new, it will be tight like a new book. As you use it, it adapts. After using my 2021 dated planner for all thirteen months (through January 2022), it is still completely intact and solid. I love the quality and layout of the planner.
