But when I tried it on my old truck because I was going out to buy a trailer and wanted to make sure the lights worked, only the 12 volt power supply and brake lights seem to work on that plug. So I spent half a day cleaning connections and rewiring it, still did not work. However when I got the trailer and plugged it in everything worked fine. I think it was a voltage problem, I was only reading 8 volts on the trailer hookup for my truck, which I don't think was enough for the LEDs in the sensor but was enough for the LEDs in the trailer lights. ### ⭐⭐ Unfortunately cheaply made *by J***L on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2019* When I first plugged it into the socket only one light would show. Then I discovered that if I didn't fully plug it into the socket, it seemed to work ok. With further use, I discovered it just didn't make reliable connections with the socket (even though I had my socket wired correctly). Guess I'll spend a bit more and get a Pollak tester (or not - I see some idiot seller thinks they can get $91 for one - I have seen it for under $20). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Product! *by R***T on Reviewed in the United States on March 12, 2019* Ordered this product to investigate a suspected problem with the trailer wiring harness on my truck. The tester was delivered fast, and it has a feature where you can flip over the LED readout if your harness is mounted like mine is.It quickly showed the "12v" LED was not lit when plugged in with the motor running. I queried the seller as to if this was a problem and got a reply literally within the hour! They advised that this was not normal so now I know I need to have this repaired.
