He loves chewing these ropes though, and it's the only toy we've found that takes him the longest to destroy. Once he starts pulling threads loose, it's easy to trim them off and give him back the toy. For what it's worth, he's also eaten some strings and has been totally fine. I'd much rather give him these which are made of fabric string than the plastic ones - who knows what THAT does to his stomach.
