SIMOLIO IR headphones are compatible with most car DVD systems. Be sure to order if your model is listed. If not, please double check IR sensor frequencies of your car DVD player first ( refer to your DVD manual or consult car manufacturer), especially for DVD systems come with your car. SIMOLIO infrared headphones are ONLY suitable for in-car DVDs that use the universal infrared frequency (Channel A: L/2.3MHZ,R/2.8MHZ; Channel B: L/3.2MHZ,R/3.8MHZ). They are NOT compatible with DVDs that use original digital IR or Bluetooth technology. When using with non-universal DVDs, you may experience incompatibility issues such as no sound, one-sided sound, or intermittent sound. To address these concerns, you can turn off the infrared function of your DVD and purchase a SIMOLIO infrared transmitter (SM-264D or SM-261A), which connects seamlessly with SIMOLIO infrared headphones to add a big fun to your journey. Alternatively, for Bluetooth-enabled DVDs, you can consider purchasing a compatible Bluetooth headset such as the JH-711 or JH-712 from our store. Please pay attention to the IR transmitting angle and distance. Sound will be cracking if too far away, or not in sight of IR transmitter (DVD), which is limitation of the IR system type, not the product itself. 3-Level Switchable Volume Limiting You can adjust the volume limited as per your surroundings. Using these headphones for 2016 Toyota Sequoia Rear Seat Entertainment System / Blue Ray DVD Player - factory installed. Works perfect for second row and third row. You just have to seitch between A and B frequencies when starting up to find right frequency. Fits heads for my 6 year old and 9 year old. My local Toyota dealership wanted $77 per headphone for the approved Toyota factory wireless headphones, these were better quality and work perfect. Bought 4!

Traveled 1900 miles over 4 days of driving with 5-year-old and 2-year-old in car seats in the back of our 2015 Honda Pilot. These were invaluable in making the trip a success. The OEM headsets were too big and even with balancing a washcloth on their heads to line up the earpieces it didn't work very well. We bought these in hopes that it would help. Adjustable and fit their small heads wonderfully. No kid complaints at all and they enjoyed having their individual color. Quality seems good and my daughter liked the decibel limiter toggle switches to minimize maximum volume. Worked first time we tried them, and batteries are still going strong. Highly recommend.

Overall a decent headphone but calling them over the ear is fake news. The cups aren't big enough to fit around your ears so they sit on your ears, making your ears hurt after long TV sessions. Might be suitable more for kids but for adults, makes it not very comfortable. That said, these worked great with a TV IR transmitter device flawlessly. After having tried, very unsuccessfully, Bluetooth devices, I am happy to have these. They simply work and we don't have to postpone watching our shows while our daughter sleeps nearby.
