On my last European adventure I made the mistake of packing uncomfortable boots (which I literally threw away in Rome) and I knew I had to invest in something better this time. And since it was London, i needed waterproof. I ordered this pair and a chestnut pair of the Ugg Azarias. These boots are incredibly comfortable!! I probably put about 10 miles on these boots in the two days I wore them. It was like night and day compared to the boots I’d worn in Rome. They have a good amount of support. They fit as expected. (I wear a 9.5 and ordered a 9.5). They are indeed waterproof as well, kept my feet nice and dry in dreary London. Very affordable price as well. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star is how they look. They’re cute but I wanted a completely black boot and was hoping to get all leather but that didn’t fit my price point. I don’t really love the wool look it has on it but the comfort made up for it. Also, I feel like the picture doesn’t match the color, it’s more of a grayish black color. You can see them compared to black pants in one of my pictures. Again, the comfort they provided made up for it. Definitely worth the price. And my feet (think bunions and hammertoes) are very particular about comfort for the long haul. I did my due diligence on homework before ordering the Robbie boots as I knew I would be sightseeing while wearing these for 10+ hours a day. To put them to the test, I tried them at work during the day several times (especially when my feet were already tired, as that's a great test of whether new shoes will be your friend or foe!). Every time, the wear experience was not just tolerable but downright a big "Ahhhh!"At the same time I purchased the UGG Robbie boots, I also purchased the UGG Simmens leather boots, with the plan that surely one or the other would work for for long-wearing comfort and style. I wear them all of the time in our snowy Michigan weather. I originally ordered these and the Ugg Simmens together, to see which one I liked better. The Simmens were incredibly difficult to get my foot into, but these are perfect!! My shoe size is normally a 7.5 or an 8, and I went with the 8's on these. These boots will keep your feet WARM and DRY no matter the weather. They are also so very comfortable for running errands all day. The leather wipes clean no matter if they went through salt, slush, rain, or snow.
