I own 4 Roombas. I run them daily -- sometimes 2-3 times. With that kind of use, I would be pleased if the batteries lasted 6 months. But, the Tenergy batteries which I have used over the last 6 years have consistently lasted 12 - 18 months. Maybe I'm just lucky and always get the "good" batteries. I doubt it. I've purchased 12 of these over the past 6 years and am completely satisfied.....especially given the price. ### ⭐ Low quality... be aware... *by D***Y on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2013* First off, this are re-manufactured batteries; both came with scratches on the cases. Not a real issue, assuming that they are OK. Unfortunately, they are not; after less than 3 months, this batteries managed to damage the charging circuit on both Roombas Discovery I was using them on. Apparently, the charging current required by this batteries is higher than what Roomba is designed for and it will overheat some components from the internal charger that will eventually fail. Never had a problem with original batteries; one is still working on the third Roomba I have. If you want to stay out of trouble, look for a genuine Roomba battery.
