While it functions the same, the pen strokes on it are very large and fuzzy so you can't write normally. You can a comparison here with the Howeasy board on the left and the real Boogie Board on the right. I also found that writing on it and just resting my hand lightly to write caused a blotch the size of my hand to show up. It seems to 'write' anytime there is just enough pressure. This behavior was not seen with the real Boogie Board. This may be ok for some, but will not work for what I was planning to use it for. If you were hoping for a larger version of a boogie board, this is just not the same. ### ⭐⭐ It's NOT a big size Boogie board *by Q***G on Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2019* My order was placed just before "raven" posted his/her review, otherwise I would not order it. It's not a big size Boggie board as I wished. The pen strokes on it are very large and hard to control. The board is very "sensitive" so your hand cannot rest on it when writing. Because of these problem, you cannot write small characters on it and it's easy to make a mess. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Somewhat broken but still usable *by P***H on Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2020* I love the size. It works well for teaching kids.However, the screen was somewhat broken. The screen appeared to be drawn (green) couple seconds after you press the erase button. You could bypass it by locking the screen after you push the erase button and before it turned green (like someone drew all over the screen).
