I wound up getting my kids these strings to put on their Breedlove, Seagull and Yamaha acoustics, and they love them. Made their guitars sound noticeably warmer and brighter with good bottom end. I think their guitars sound like I paid more for them than I did, so I'm happy with that. If a few bucks in price is an issue for you compared to the next step down, you probably haven't been playing long enough to notice the difference anyway.
