This set includes 8 horsetail reed bamboo-looking plants, approximately 24 inches tall from root to tip, shipped bare-root with extra plants free. Here is a great plant I wanted this plant for a while and finally found some and brought it home. We have hard rocky clay which is hard for anything to grow in but this took off We are in Zone 6 and the winter does not hurt it. It is easy to grow. It will tolerate everything from near drought to being under water. And grow as tall as 3 or 4 feet. It works well when mixed in with other plants along a pond edge. Full sun or part sun is fine. Overview The horsetail plant, also called scouring rush, Horsetail grows naturally in wet places such as swamps and ditches or planted along ponds and water features in home landscapes. The plant has creeping rhizomes that grow aggressively but can be controlled. Just pull up any unwanted plant or mow over them Just plant them a little deeper the what they were, this will help the stand up and will promote new root grow, on some of the taller plants, YOU MIGHT GET SOME TOPS BROWNING WHICH IS COMMON the roots will keep growing and will come back when given time (2-3 MONTHS PLEASE IF YOU ARE GOING TO LEAVE NEG FEEDBACK PLEASE WAIT TILL THEY HAVE A CHANCE TO GROW THEM!! If after 3 months and no groweth just send me a picture of all of the roots and we will send replacements. This can be planted in the sun if introduced a little at a time or new growth is started in the full sun. Partial shade to shade plant and does best in the shade. If you are buying this items you will be responsible to check and see if you state allows this plant and you will be liable for all paperwork and fees require and you will take all responsibility for importing this item and we are not held liable for any violations.

Review: READ THE FINE PRINT! BUYER BEWARE - objects in mirror are - The photographs are so misleading because what you will receive will be three tiny little stalks bare route. I suspect after two years or three years it would look like the picture but I have preferred to have my expectations set correctly on purchase. I attempted to return but that became an incredible hassle and due to excessive heat the three little stocks in a plastic bag in my car turn brown and going to the desertcart store was just so out of the way. Complete and utter disappointment and failure for which frankly I’m shocked that they would require a return at all. I’ve marked the buyer to ensure that I won’t fall for any horticultural products sold here. Buyer beware and read the description extremely closely and know that any photograph you see, while I’m not suggesting isn’t a legitimate specimen of what they have, Is an over exaggerated representation of what you are ordering. First off, they aren't 2 feet tall as advertised, but the seller realized this before i even received them and gave me a partial refund without me even asking. I received a bundled of 8" horsetails that looked sort of dead, but i planted them and watered them a lot and now a few weeks later new growth is sprouting.
