Since I do not enjoy climbing a 12-foot ladder, I thought these bulbs would last longer than my ownership of this house.Shortly after installing all 28, one of the bulbs died. Torchstar replaced it for free, but I had to ship the defective one back to Torchstar first at my expense, before they would send me a replacement.Since then, many more have died. One has completely burnt out, five have become very dim, and one has begun to constanly flash, about 2-3 pulses per second. I climbed the ladder and removed all seven.I have never had this problem with CFLs. ALL of my CFLs have lasted for several years, and the purchase price is a fraction of LEDs. The brightness of the illumination is comparable. I will be jumping off the LED bandwagon. They're too unreliable to be worth the extra cost.Additionally, Torchstar is selling products having questionable quality. Torchstar has already refused to replace the other 7 bulbs that have proven to be defective.LED bulbs: buyer bewareTorchstar customers: buyer beware ### ⭐⭐ Not what it claims *by R***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2013* I really can't recommend this product to those looking for a less greedy light bulb.
