Review: Nice chunky pizzles = two happily addicted westies - I previously bought these from my local pet food store. However, their supplier changed, meaning they were much more expensive and poorer quality. I reluctantly decided to try buying online, as many reviews from other suppliers stated that they weren’t as described. I’ve now purchased two packs of thick pizzles and one pack of jumbos to determine the consistency of the quality of the product. The first two batches averaged out at the correct weight, but some didn’t meet the minimum weight described. However, others were towards the higher end of the range. As I have small dogs and the pack averaged out within the described range, I was happy. But those with bigger dogs may end up disappointed if some are smaller than advertised. Overall, I’m very pleased with my new supplier and will definitely buy again as my dogs have an addiction to these. I’ve just received my third order of these thick puzzles and they were all 28+, averaging out at 33.5g each. There were only 2 that weighed 28g. Yes, I’m probably the most anal reviewer on here. But like to know I’m getting what I’m paying for. They also arrived much quicker than expected by Royal Mail. Came next day, when the EDD was 4-7 days. Due to the nature of the product, they are quite smelly. But I imagine people who are buying know fine well the aroma to expect, especially when they get chewed and soggy.

Rarely leave reviews bit just wanted to say overall impressed with my first order of 10. They work out slightly over £2 a pop - but they are biggest of these I’ve seen in a while both in length and thickness. Couple are on the thin side (hence only 4 stars). Happy dog this evening. I freeze mine - makes them last longer 👀 I will order again and am keeping fingers crossed the value doesn’t deteriorate the way other repeat orders have done with other suppliers. Shall report back!!
