No nails are unbreakable, but these are very durable. As they are transparent to the end of the tip, I have been gluing down an adhesive-backed fiberglass on top to create the white area of the nail and define the "smile line." This also helps to keep the tip from cracking, if accidentally hit. The only thing that would make this product perfect for me is for the manufacturer to spray white or cream colored fiberglass to the underside of the tip, with a nice curved line and save me the trouble. (Using the underside would keep the white out of the way of filing the top.) Then, all that would be required would be to apply the tip, smooth, and polish with a clear finish. But, for now, these work very well and my manicures cost about $2.00 each.
