Ordered X-::Large and fit perfect! *by M***H on September 8, 2018* I ordered this for our 75lb Lab and it was the perfect fit. The material is a thick material that keeps him dry, unlike the thin material coats that soak through. He wasn't thrilled with it as you can see from the picture, but that was primarily because I was telling him to "stay". He doesn't wear coats or clothes, so it took a couple times for him to get used to it but we had constant rain this weekend and he finally gave into it. I ordered the X-Large because I wanted to make sure it covered his entire back, which it did. He measures 27 inches from collar to butt and 24 inches from the ground to top of his back. The velcro strap underneath is great because it allows you to fit it snug based on chest size. The coat measures 24 inches wide (side to side) and the strap is 15 inches long and has 4 inches of velcro. From the end of the hood to the end of the coat, it's 36 inches. The hood has drawstrings to keep the hood in place if needed, and the pocket on the back is a real pocket with velcro closure. I point the pocket out because I thought it was just a flap to make it look like a pocket. I will also point out that you have to pull the hood on over your dogs head, instead of snapping under their neck like others I've tried. My boy doesn't mind this, but I have a smaller dog that would throw a fit if I tried to put anything over his head! Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend for larger dogs. I'm not sure if this would work on smaller dogs that are closer to the ground. because they may trip on the front section that hangs. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Measure twice!
