I was a little apprehensive after ordering but when it arrived we became friends pretty fast, Its extremely well priced, looks great and does all the things a jazz bass should do. I needed something last minute for a session and its probably (dare I say it) now a mainstay. It sounds actually what you would expect from a jazz bass. It sounds WAY better than its price. It would seem the pickups are wired for a hum bucking configuration when both are turned up (this is good!) I have an actual late 60's jazz bass and an assortment of others. Any mild hum you get with one or the other pickup off is probably normal for this particular configuration... Review: 5 string jazz bass - I received very quickly and it was beautiful and better than I expected. It was set up better than a much expensive guitar I purchased from the guitar center . Intonation, no fret buzzing, excellent finish.
