I am very pleased with my purchase. First of all the guitar I received was mor beautiful than the one in the photo on Amazon. As it turns out it is a 2021 specimen with a slightly different head stock as you can see in my attached photos. Now for the really important stuff. There is not a blemish on the guitar sent to me. The gloss finish is very well done. The action is amazing, the fretwork is fantastic, the intonation was spot on out of the box and the sound of this guitar is warm but clear. Not too dark and not too bright it’s right in the sweet spot. A couple things to note, the neck is chunky and although the lower bout is not as large as a 335 it is a fairly large guitar. Mine weighs in at 7.8lbs and is a bit longer than the other couple of guitars I own. That being said after a few hours with the guitar and it’s melting into my body like it was a part of me. The playability of this thing is wonderful so I don’t feel it’s size and chunky neck are detractors. I’ve played it for about three hours but before I did, I pre-streched the strings and it seems to be holding tune well.Mine came from Chicago Music Exchange and was incredibly well packaged. It was double boxed with a ton of industrial bubble wrap surrounding the inner box. The guitar was further wrapped and secured inside the inner box. I was very happy with the care and attention that went into shipping my guitar.I purchased the Ibanez AM100 case and am happy with the fitment of the guitar in the case. Some reviews mentioned it was a tight squeeze to get their guitars in the case but mine seems to fit snug with the slightest bit of wiggle room that when the case is shut I don’t think the guitar will move around much. You may notice a slight gap at the bottom of the guitar in the case in the attached photo.If there is anything I can say negative about this guitar it would be that the neck was pretty dry upon arrival although the smallest bit of guitar neck oil solved that in about a minute. I’m leaving the pick guard ON on my guitar. The tortoise shell works with with this guitar and the matching binding looks classy. Also my other guitars that don’t have pick guards are worn in that area so I believe it will save this one.Well what else can I say about this guitar?....Maybe, “How can they make a guitar this nice, this cheap!” Or, “If you are on the fence about purchasing this guitar hesitate no longer, go for it!”One last thought.... One is always a little skeptical ordering a guitar on line. You never know what's going to happen (damage during shipping, etc.) however, I've purchased maybe ten guitars on line within the past five years and have been lucky. No problems at all.This guitar is absolutely beautiful. The finish is stunning. The picture here doesn't do it justice. It looks even better in person.The guitar feels great to me. The only thing I'm not too crazy about is the guitar strap fastens on the back of the guitar where the neck connects to the body. It's probably just me since I'm used to Strats and Les Pauls where the strap connects at the top of the curve on the body. Just something I have to get a little used to, but in all honesty it's not that big of a deal.As for sound this guitar is so good. In all three positions via the toggle switch. These pickups are excellent. Very clean full sound with great sustain. Whether playing with a clean sound or with overdrive/distortion.This is the most versatile electric I've ever owned. Whether you're playing rock, jazz, blues, country. This guitar has it covered.If you've been sitting on the fence about this guitar I'd say take the plunge. You're not going to find a better deal for the money and it will cover all of your electric guitar needs. If I could only keep one of the electrics that I own (lucky I don't have to make that choice) I would probably keep this one. Yes...it is that good.BTW - all of the Ibanez AM93 Artcore Expressionist Hollow Body Electric Guitars have the same setup. Same pickups. Same everything. So if you're looking for a different color/finish you'll still get the same great features.
