It's also supposed to help with weight loss, which would be a bonus. I don't have, nor haveI been diagnosed with anxiety, but sometimes when life gets overwhelming this definitely helps to mellow me out and makes things easier to handle. It doesn't make me sleepy, but I will occasionally take it at night along with St. John's Wort when my mind won't settle down.I can't say this has contributed to any noticeable weight loss, although I may drop a pound or two if I use it consistently.I definitely recommend it for stress and anxiety, and this brand provides good results at a reasonable price!UPDATE- I won't buy this brand again. I purchased a few times, and the pills were pink in color as expected, due to the natural color of Saffron. My most recent purchase in 2019, i received a bottle/pills that were completely white and basically appeared to be all filler product with no Saffron whatsoever. I compared pills from the old bottle of the same Tallwell brand with my more recent purchase, and there was a significant difference in the color.
