I correct myself on this claim and ask your apology. They did come with the gaskets that I missed finding because I was looking for it in where I assume they would be. To make up for this mistake , for anyone needing a gasket for this heating element you may safely try the "Rheem SP6708 Water Heater Heating Element Gasket Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part)" This is also sold in the Amazon Market but not directly. I checked the physical data of this product from another vendor (more expensive though) and it yielded to be a good fit after measuring this heating element with my premium Vernier caliper. **Q: What does resistored mean? did you mispell restored?** A: It is just suppose to say "Resistor". This is a resistor copper element. Sam **Q: Does this heating element fit model #81mv52d? does rheem only use the same element for most or all of its models?** A: If you call Rheem customer support and provide them with your hot water heater model and serial number they will tell you the element model number you should purchase. **Q: Will this fit in a whirlpool hot water heater model mhe2f40rs035v?** A: The heating element is based on the supply voltage, wattage, and physical size of the water heater. The heating element must fit the hole size on your water heater and also not contact the opposite side of the water heater when inserted.
