What a waste of money. I reviewed helmets thoroughly before purchasing and thought this was the best choice. Even worth spending the extra money to ensure my daughter's safety. Well, at the time, no one said anything about this happening. I even tried placing this headpiece back inside and slipping the helmet on her head to see if maybe it would still work, (because my rationale was "how on earth could something essential to the helmet, just come out?) but no... It does not work. It slides down on her face and neck and not will stay in. What a joke. Do not buy!! ### ⭐ Inner band comes off way too easily (velcro and glue) *by J***H on Reviewed in the United States on August 25, 2015* As noted in some of the other negative reviews, the inner band which cinches around the head is attached to the helmet itself with velcro pads. If the kid is in a bike seat or trailer that has any objects around their head (like a headrest) the back of the helmet will catch and the helmet will basically torque off their head, leaving them with the inner band around their head and the helmet hanging down their face.
