I love to look at him, and he is enjoyable to squeeze. The timer is very useful at night. He allows me to get a drink of water and find things during the night. His red color should limit disruption to my night vision and circadian rhythm. I only wish that he had a hi/lo switch for brightness because he’s actually too bright for me sometimes (but I experience photophobia. This lamp was suggested to us in my new mama's class, and it has been a great little light for nighttime feedings! I love that it is easy to turn on (simple squeeze the bear) and that the red light doesn't wake my husband up when I am nursing next to him in bed. The 1-hour auto timer is also a great feature. I think we'll use this for a long time as our baby grows!
