Since I am usually logged into both modes, I need to be able to switch my headset connection from one to the other quickly to accept the call. An incredible pain in the neck! With this device I'm logged into both and simply toggle switch between telephone and computer to take the call. As a bonus, it's an audio processor so calls are also clearer. One caveat, this unit is only compatible with Jabra headsets.
