Cross tube type *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2019* I have a 1955 ford 600 tractor with an old Wagner front end loader attachment. Problem i was having was that the loader arm cylynders were leaking and i was tired of having to clean up the leaking oil from them. I took the cylynders to a local hydraulic repair company to have them re sealed, and they told me it would be at least $300 per cylynder to have them re sealed, but that is only for new seals and if any thing else is needed, the cost would go up from there. Well, i decided to search around and try to find replacement cylinders. I found these on amazon and they are a perfect fit!! No modifications were needed, and the cross tubes fit directly into the original wagner loader pockets. Absolutly perfect fit and about $180 per, well it was a no brainer!.Keep in mind that the fittings on thes new cylynders are SAE o-ring boss (ORB), and my old hoses were NPT (pipe threads) so when i went to my local Orielly auto part store to have new hoses made, i just told them i need an ORB #8 male fitting on one end and they made the hose that way. Easy peasy. Fast shipping too!! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Had to take it to a shop before I could use it. *by G***E on Reviewed in the United States on June 9, 2020* I received the hydraulic cylinder today and tried to install it. But the shipping plugs were screwed in so tight I couldn't get them out. I finally added a cheater pipe to the hex wrench and got the first one loose. But when I tried this on the second, I felt the inside of the plug start to strip out. I ended up having to take the cylinder to a auto repair shop just to get the shipping plug out! The mechanic had to drive the next size up hex driver in and use an impact wrench to finally break in loose! There is no reason that a shipping plug needs to be installed that tight and then painted over. Picture is of shipping plug after it was removed. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Good value but mfg consistency may not be great *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on December 14, 2018* I installed this on my Kubota back hoe and found the base 1" tube was not welded symmetrically on the base. This made it impossible for the cylinder to swing within the rails. I used a grinder and cutting wheel to trim the outside off which made it work but thinned the outer edge of the base. I don't expect a leak at any time but wasn't real happy with the modification.
