Review: Brought my cholesterol down by 50 points - I have taken the product for years and it has brought my cholesterol down by about 50 points. I take 3 capsules at bedtime. My doctor put me on Crestor but I got joint pain with it. Of course you need to still eat a healthy diet but in combination with a low fat/saturated fat diet with plenty of fiber, this does the trick.

I originally started taking this brand’s Ferrasorb (iron supplement) to boost my iron and after 3 months and a new blood test my iron count is back on track. I started taking the Chloeast-900 about 3 months ago. I take 2 in the morning and 2 at night along with Jarrow Formula’s Q-Absorb mid day per recommendation of my doctor to lower my cholesterol. They are easy to swallow and have clean ingredients. I have yet to take my new blood test yet, but I am feeling pretty hopeful since high cholesterol runs in my family. I will update this review when I get the results back. It is a bit pricey to keep up with; however, it is great quality with high quality ingredients and a trusted brand. It also beats going on a pharmaceutical.

I’ve tried many different brands of red rice yeast, and I have to say this is the only brand that has really successfully lowered my cholesterol. For instance, I stopped using it and then started it again and within just a few weeks it was lowered by 20 points during the retest.
