Grown in the UK and ready for planting this spring, it promises quality and freshness. ## Description Orange/pale red skinned fruiting pomegranate cultivar with soft seed-coats (not developed seeds) in the flesh, making the whole fruit edible. One of the sweetest pomegranate now on the market, even the soft seed-leftovers are sweet inside the flesh. Lovely, numerous, red flowers and with a semi-compact habit (ultimate height is 1-1,5m). Medium sized fruits. Any established plants will flower freely on any good soil. It prefers a hot position, against a south facing wall for example, but will flower in a good protected sunny position. The pomegranate is believed to have originated in the area from Iran east to northern India, but has been cultivated around the Mediterranean for so long (several millennia) that its true native range is not accurately known. Easy to grow and well suitable for the patio too. The fruits ripe better if planted against a south facing wall or if kept in a conservatory from mid-August until harvest (except the South coast of England). I finally planted it in spring 2022. It survived the scorching 40 degree summer and very cold Midlands UK winter and is now growing like crazy! ### ⭐ A dead twig arrived *by C***B on 21 April 2023* Three pommegranagtes plants order and arrived OK. Only 1 plant was alive and is growing very wellThe other two were dead twigs, even after careful nurturing.
