However, the seller reached out to me and sent me the 72” which turned out to be amazing for my needs. It is a little more costly, but it is sturdy and the moving pieces on it are so much easier to deal with. I doubt anyone thought of that...” ### ⭐⭐ Smartphone mount did not meet expectations *by M***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2019* I teach animation and video and was looking for an affordable tripod for my high school students to use when shooting with their phones. The main reason I bought this particular tripod was because it came with a smartphone mount, so I did not need to buy one separately. Other smartphone mounts I have bought use a screw to expand or contract in size to hold different sized phones, and these have worked really well.The one that comes with this tripod is spring loaded and takes a lot of effort to pry open - but feels like if you pull too hard it will break. Once your phone is gripped in the holder, it does not seem secure.
