She’s 6 lbs and the extra small was the perfect size. I know she was warm because when I took her out and felt her she was pretty toasty. She was wearing clothes under the insert too so that probably helped. It’s pretty baggy so if your dog is wearing clothes underneath she will still fit. The hood fits better and stays in place more if you have your dog wear a hat underneath the hood. It makes their head bigger and fills the hood better to stay on. I did this since her ears don’t have much fur and her ears freeze very easily.
