Review: Quality speaker with good clear sound - I like the purchase and happy with the speakers. I replaced a set of speakers on my BMW K1600GT motorcycle. They sounded significantly better than my stock BMW speakers even without the new amp. With the addition of the amp (300W 2ch) I don't turn it up much past half volume and its loud and clear. These mind you, are 4-inch coaxial speakers. You don't and won't get strong base from these or any other 4 in speaker. But it's what I had to work with. The speakers are strong, and the sound is full and clear. At high volume levels i sensed some distortion so i flattened the base and treble levels and washed the distortion out. Loud and clear is my grade on these, love them and would definitely purchase again.

You should not expect much low bass response below 300hz from these or any other 4" speaker in an open baffle car audio install. On my otherwise factory RX 350 202110 speaker system I replaced all (3) of my 4" dashboard speakers with these. The Hertz 100.3 being 92dB means the volume is about one click higher than before on the same power vs the factory speakers. The details are more crisp, the off axis response firing into the windshield sounds excellent, Hertz states these are designed to work well off axis (that means not pointed directly at your ear). I considered the Infinity 4032 which is about half of the price of these, but the tweeter material on the Hertz is superior so these probably sound better.

**Q: Are these fakes? Everywhere else they’re listed at $129....**
A: No they are real Hertz speakers. Just had to modify to fit. They sounds good and have decent bass.

**Q: Will the 22 Bronco factory radio power these?**
A: Hertz Dieci Series DCX-1003 will work great with any modern factory radio, although they will perform their best in conjunction with small to medium amplifiers, they will definitely be an upgrade for your 22 Bronco's factory radio  as long as you have 4" speaker openings

**Q: How Loud are they?**
A: They are a bit load but very bright . The tweeter really pops out . You need a small amp to power them . I’m running them off my factory amp . There located in the front which the sound bounces off the windshield. It’s my second pair. I wasn’t much of a fan of Herz but I was really surprised how great they sound .

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little speaker

These worked great as an upgrade for the factory speakers on the 1978 Mercedes. Great sound for the tiny size. Installation was easy, bu that will depend on your car. For the head unit, we have a RetroAudio Europa. The radio is rated to 25w and speakers are 30w, so a good match.
