Well, these are different indeed. They are large, "drier", more chewy and fibrous, and have a milder flavor. Honestly, I prefer the prunes myself, these are a bit fig-like in consistency, but these are still interesting and nice to mix up the rotation. Other family members who specifically do not like how soft and sticky prunes can become, especially if you don't refrigerate them after opening, found these more appealing. If prunes are a bit to sweet or the flavor is a bit too strong, these again might be an interesting alternative. I probably wouldn't order these regularly, though I might order them again in a year or two.
