**Q: I want to use this in an ikea desk lamp that is enclosed (the bulb is covered with glass plate). Will this work in an enclosed place?**
A: Please check my recent review. We replaced bulbs in IKEA floor lamps with adjustable arms. New bulbs fit nice and snug, so not worried with them falling out. We did NOT replace the glass covers.
**Q: The bulbs I am replacing have pins that are completely closed (not the opening in the middle), will these work as a replacement?**
A: There are G9 light bulbs that have completely closed pins instead of looped pins. They all work just the same for G9 sockets. As long as you verify your light bulb is a G9 base bulb, with pins 9mm apart, then either open loop or closed would work.
