I have used it camping, for my car starter, and cell phones out in the woods and yes I forgot to recharge it after sitting in my car for 4 months in the winter. My battery was dead in a store parking lot. I got out the Stanley in the back of my car put it on my battery cable and da da. started right up did not even have to wait for the charge. This is a great product to get your first time drivers and keep them safe from being stuck somewhere. My daughter and son have both used them. Awesome gift also.

**Q: How do you charge the device?**
A: It comes with charging blocks that can be plugged into a 120V AC outlet or a 12V DC accessory port. Please note that due to the larger battery, this unit is NOT compatible with all charging blocks (anything charging less than .5A won't provide enough power), so we recommend using the enclosed charger.

**Q: Whats the peak amps?**
A: This jump starter provides 300 starting amps. We don't have any tested claims on peak amps, but we've used this unit to jump start smaller vehicles without any trouble.

**Q: How do I fix?**

**Q: Lost my charge cable.can i use a standard usb cable?**
A: Yes you can if you use a different wall wart it need to be higher than .5 amps

I was wary at first that such a small device could jump start a pick-up, but I was pleasantly surprised . I jumped my Dodge Ram 1500 V6 without a problem. It's lite easy to charge (A full charge takes about 6 hours). When you get it, you will need to charge it to full charge before jumping your vehicle . It has lights on the jumper cables that tell you if you have a good connection and it comes with two USB plug-ins for charging phones, tablet, etc.. Stanley says it will hold up to a 90 percent charge after a year, but recommends a recharge after 3 months of non-use. It also has a handy LED light on the back side. So at $49.00, it's a pretty good deal, as most Lithium Jump Starter run $70 or more.
