But if you have a beginner, do not buy these. They are very hard and hurt if you get hit with them. I bought these, but then paid someone else to make a set that's softer for my 7 year old. If someone were to use these for an actual performance, I would say right off the bat they are not really made very well and they are too hard. Ones that you would buy from a Hula instrument store are made much more softer.
