If you think they're even close to what you need, try them out!So, I'm a tights fanatic, and my sizing usually makes this a troublesome thing to be. On most scales, I'm just above the largest size. I wear a size F in Spanx, which have been my go-to, but even they don't offer most of their items in that size. I've been on the hunt for a while for a Burgundy/Maroon shade, if only just because I love the color, and aside from the "We Love Colors" brand (which have bar-none the worst fabric of any tights I've ever endeavored to try), I've found nothing. Usually in my size, I'd find black, grey, brown, light brown, and maybe a navy.Then I found these.I actually read the sizing chart about 5 times to make sure I was correct - my sizing places me on the bottom half (3X) of the scale of offerings here. I ordered them, and hoped for the best.Initial experience:Comfort - Most comfortable tights I've ever owned. They're not restrictive, they breathe well, and they had no obnoxious chemical smells out of the package.Opacity: Probably about a 60-70 denier. Hides leg hair, probably wouldn't entirely hide a dark tattoo (but hides blemishes or lighter markings). Opaque enough to be considered opaque.Coloring - on-point. The "Raspberry" reads a very dark red, perhaps a shade darker than maroon, but it passes well with my skin-tone as a Maroon/Burgundy. Looks accurate to the listing image.Construction - It is what it is, single seams in front and back, and we'll see how they hold up so far as durability goes.Sizing - The sizing is true for everything that matters up front (waist/hips/thighs) but they run a bit long. Wearing them throughout the day, they may bunch around the ankles. Mitigate it by distributing the extra fabric up high. I'm a bit enamored with the looseness, since it isn't profound, it comes across as more of a comfort detail. If you're in between two sizes, order down.Overall, best tights I've ever owned. I am a tall young lady with thick thighs and some 'junk in the trunk' and these fit perfectly. I like my tights to come high up (under my boobs lol) and this one did just that. I had no trouble getting it on and felt like I was wearing a second skin the whole time. The opacity is great and these are definitely fall/winter tights. This is now my go to brand for tights.
