You can also place a few drops into their water. You can overdose with the product, it’s all natural ingredients. **Q: What is the shelf life of this?** A: Hello. There is no expiry date on box or bottle. I continue to use as necessary, which thankfully isn't often, as 100% natural ingredients. Still works well. **Q: The only vetrx i can find for poultry is priced at $85. is that correct? seems expensive** A: Sorry, I can't remember how much I paid in £s but I'm sure it was not as expensive as $85. **Q: Can this be used for chicken eyes** A: The instruction leaflet which comes with the product states it is for the support of healthy upper respiratory function. It also states that a mix of one teaspoonful VetRx in one half cup of hot water can be used to swab throat and wash head and eyes 4 or 5 times per day. Our cockerel has been a bit poorly; so we put a drop under each wing, a drop in his mouth, then rubbed a bit around his beak to clear up some dried discharge. We've been doing this once a day for the last few days and it does seemed to have helped him, he's certainly perked up, and his breathing is a bit better. How easy it is to use will definitely depend on the personality of your poultry!
