When I first received this product I loved it. The baby was able to eat and didn't throw the bowl to the ground. It was great to teach him to leave his bowls where they are. After about a month, there was a soapy smell and eventually a soapy taste. It seems the soap just STUCK to the bowl and plate no matter how long I washed the bowl and plate. I fed him a bowl of rice and chicken just last night and when I tasted it, I could only taste soap. I would not recommend at all! ### ⭐ Did not stick as hoped *by A***R on January 10, 2018* I’ve been looking for a plate and or bowl for my 18 month old. He’s always tipping over his plates and it would’ve nice to serve him his meals without it spilling all over the table. I bought this set with hopes it would solve my problem. First the bowl, if you only try to lift only around the bowl, then yes it works. However, the second you try and lift it from anywhere around the edge it lifts right up. Of course my 18 month tried this the first time he used it and spilled his oatmeal all over. As for the plate, only if you try to lift it from the dead center will it stick, but once you pull it from any other area on the plate or the mat area it lifts right up. Basically this product did not help at all! I’m going to keep searching for plates or bowls that will actually suction to our table. ### ⭐ Don't buy if I you don't want your baby to eat soap everyday *by N***S on September 15, 2018* I really loved The Happy Parent bibs. That was why I bought their plate and bowl. But I am very disappointed about the plate. It is totally a defective product. The silicone material seems to absorb soap. There was a soapy smell and eventually a soapy taste no matter how long I washed the bowl and plate. Food tasted like soap when it was settled down on the plate for more than 5'.
