These are defineitly better than other thimbles. However, they really only fit the fingers so that the front & top of the finger (and fingernail) is protected - but I tend to use the side of my finger more than the front. eh...I kinda use the inside corner of my finger/fingernail. I find that I need to turn these thimbles a bit for them to cover the area that I use the most - and these thimbles are just not made to fit the side of the finger. That being said, they are still better than all the others. Note to seller: these are so close to perfect. They need to protect just a bit more towards the inside of the finger to cover the corner tip better.
