Review: Love it - I thought I'd try this before investing in one of the extremely pricey blenders & I'm happy that I did! I use this almost daily, primarily for green smoothies for the whole family. They come out perfectly smooth with no chunks of greens like I had with my standard blender that died on me. I also use it to purée, make soups, and pestos. It's compact, powerful, easy to clean, and everything comes out perfectly blended. Review: Frozen Smoothies, no problemo, failed 2yrs - Bought for my Son who makes at least one smoothie a day with frozen veggies in it. He loves it! Nice durable product, loud but effective! .......Update- unit failed two years of use, quite pricey for short life. Motor spins, blades no longer. ## Features - Commercial blender helps to create quickly and easily perfect fruit smoothies, frozen coffee drinks, soups, sauces and more items - Made of stainless steel and plastic material - Features powerful 3/4-horse power motor, 2-spped operation and ultra-effective stainless steel blade design that crushes ice in seconds - Also features HI, LOW, OFF and PULSE controls; classic toggle switches makes easy to use and easy to find in dimly lit locations - Includes durable 32-ounce dishwasher safe stainless steel container ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0031DJZBI | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Brand | Waring | | Brand Name | Waring | | Capacity | 2 Pounds | | Color | Black | | Customer Reviews | 3.4 out of 5 stars 38 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00040072001406 | | Is the item dishwasher safe? | Yes | | Item Weight | 5.76 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Waring Commercial Inc. I have the unit on a circuit with a coffee maker that draws over 1000W, we have never had the 20A circuit breaker blow. I have not measured the current draw myself. The Waring documents are inconsistent: the BB180S specifications list a current draw of 2.2A at 120V, approximately 250W. The 'features and benefits' lists the motor output 3/4 HP, which is approximately 560W at 100% efficiency. The parts list for the BB180S lists the motor current draw at 5A, approximately 600W. **Q: How quiet is it?** A: Arturo - I bought blender for my daughter and she loves it. She said it was not the noisest blender she had but does make some noise. She rated it about a 7 on the noise scale but again - was very happy with it. **Q: In the stainless jar, does food come in contact with any rubber gasket, etc near the blade?** A: Yes, the rubber gasket between the stainless jar & blade assembly is exposed to food (about 1/4" around the inner perimeter of the gasket). **Q: can i get this in 220 volts** A: they only sell the 220 versions overseas not within the states the good4u 400 e is a 220 volt sold here but pricing is higher ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it *by C***E on May 17, 2014* I thought I'd try this before investing in one of the extremely pricey blenders & I'm happy that I did! ### ⭐ Frozen Smoothies, no problemo, failed 2yrs *by V***G on August 20, 2014* Bought for my Son who makes at least one smoothie a day with frozen veggies in it. He loves it! Nice durable product, loud but effective! .......Update- unit failed two years of use, quite pricey for short life. Motor spins, blades no longer. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Just Okay *by S***B on November 16, 2013* I use a VitaMix daily and it recently had to be sent back in for a recall on the blade (VitaMix handled that entire situation beautifully, by the way!). I cannot go a day without my vegetable/fruit smoothie so I decided to purchase this Waring blender as a high quality back-up blender while I waited for my VitaMix to get repaired and just in case I ever had to send the VitaMix away in the future. For $100, I expected a bit more from the Waring. The unit itself seems sturdy and well constructed and for the size of the pitcher the motor seems powerful enough. I think it just boils down to the difference between a $100 blender and a $500 blender. The consistency of the smoothies was a tiny bit chunky and icy - not the smooth creamy texture I am accustomed to from the VitaMix. I also didn't consider until after the fact that the stainless steel pitcher would be a problem for me personally. It was very cold to hold on to while mixing (duh - some of my ingredients are frozen, what did I expect!?). But beyond that, I am used to being able to see the blending in progress and I had to keep stopping to check on the contents. The VitaMix design includes a tamper which helps push food towards the blade and that concept is perfection but it is not a viable or safe method unless the unit is designed that way - and the Waring isn't. A final thought, the lid on the Waring is annoying as hell! The access "door" is bulky and is more of a pain in the rear than anything. Oh yeah - one more thing - cleaning it was a drag. Not that it was difficult, but I did have to take it apart and clean all of the components as opposed to just being able to rinse, add hot water and a drop of dish soap, blend, rinse and done (VitaMix :). --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1041326-waring-commercial-bb180s-nublend-commercial-blender-with-32-ounce-stainless](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/1041326-waring-commercial-bb180s-nublend-commercial-blender-with-32-ounce-stainless) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-14*
