Fit 2 cats (14 lb and 16.5lb) on a Southwest 737-700 series plane w/o issue - I was very worried about this carrier and my two cats. Because I was moving them across country in the winter the option to do cargo or in the luggage area was just not there due to temperatures at one end or the other. So in the cabin was the only way. I have a nearly 17 lb cat that is just large - not fat - just has huge paws and he is long and tall. He fit in this carrier just fine - not a ton of room but no trigger to any of the staff of the airline that he was too big. These were secure - even my littler (14 lbs or so ..not so little I guess) could not figure out how to get out of this carrier. They were not able to get out or damage it. We had them 3 weeks before or flight and they LOVED sleeping in them. Right now neither wants to go near them but I guess that's to be expected as they were not overjoyed with the flight. I love the colors of this limited edition model and we got a lot of compliments. They were easy to carry, sturdy, and let us bring our boys to our new home. I love them!
