Review: Excellent garlic crusher - I love this garlic press. My old press had a smaller pocket for the garlic and a removable grate that the garlic was pushed through - that made it easy to clean but garlic would consistently squeeze out of the sides rather than get properly crushed. This press feels much more solid and has a larger pocket to put the garlic in. When crushed, everything goes through and nothing but the skins is wasted. With a larger pocket its also much easier to get the waste skins out. I can easily crush 3 or 4 cloves in one go, and I'm getting much more crushed garlic out with much less waste. I'd definitely buy this again, but it's so solid I think it's going to last for years.

A: Thanks for asking this Q. Oliver’s claim to be a UK based family start up? Yet you get your products manufactured in a country that treats it’s citizens like slaves just to save a few quid. You should be ashamed of yourselves. I’ll be buying mine elsewhere.

A: All o0f our products are imported from China.

**Q: Does it press and hence juice ginger root?**
A: Broke mine less than a week ago crushing ginger, burst the hinge and now it's useless so I wouldn't risk it. Good for garlic though.

**Q: Title says 'zinc alloy' and product description says 'stainless steel'... could anyone confirm which please?**
A: It is zinc alloy and my husband loves it, easy to use and to clean.

I love this garlic press. Very sturdy and well made. The only drawback is I have arthritis in my hands and it takes a bit of force to crush the garlic.
