The ones I have are the fairly cheap. They come in a bag made from the same color and material as the sheets themselves with a velcro flap on top. Those are just your basic, run-of-the-mill, frill-less sheets. Nothing fancy. They cover the 10 inch matteress and just barely get to the bottom. They physically fit the mattress and cover it, but whenever anyone sits on it, the sheets pop off a corner. Lay down and you end up with the fitted sheet around you. That is what I tried to fix by buying these sheets here. I wrote this part so I had something to compare to....Alright, now for the actual review of these sheets. I'll start with some of the things that I DID like. First thing was the price. That was the final deciding factor when I was shopping. I picked out a few and these had the best price based on what I was looking at. The material itself felt nice. It was quite smooth and fairly silky. They had a decent feel sticking my hand in the package. That's about all I can say that I actually liked. The flat sheet and pillow case were of a decent/standard size. Nothing to brag about.Now for what I did not like.... The color. Clearly this was the first thing that I noticed as it jumpped out as soon as soon as I opened the shipping box. These were not as described. The color does NOT match the picture and were not what I would consider "silver" by any means. They were as dark (if not darker) than the AmazonBasics dark grey microfiber set. They were almost exactly that color, but probably just a tad darker. I could barely even see the stripes. Silver should be lighter and, well, silver colored. Way too dark. Right off the bat, I was disappointed with my purchase. I figured I'd take a closer look anyway and opened the package.I took the sheets out and immediately noticed that the fitted sheet was not very deep at all. I brought it to the bed and compared them to what I already had. The fitted sheet seam (sides) on the Walmart set was about 2 inches LONGER than this set. They were only about 8 inches deep. They wouldn't even completely cover the side of the 10 inch mattress. They are NOT deep pocket sheets. The package (and web description) said it fit up to 15 inch beds, but that is just not true.These sheets are also extremely thin. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but I can't see them lasting long term. Not to say they don't, but I can't see it happening. I'm sure they would be just fine for keeping on a guest bed or in a cottage; something that does not see constant use. That is not what I bought them for, however. They might be good if you have a vacation rental or something similar. At least they are cheap enough that if they get ruined, they can be thrown out without crying too much.I should mention that I wasn't expecting super-high, last 4 generations type quality If I wanted that kind of quality, I would have spent that kind of money. I have to be really impressed with a product in order to take the time to write about it. I also read quite a few of the review prior to buying this product. Many of them sing the praises of these sheets but I was skeptical. I found myself asking the question "Is what I think is soft what other people will say is soft? Can I really trust these reviews?" Personally when I clicked buy I was still a little unsure but I figured for 20 bucks and no hassle returns why not roll the dice. Let me also say that I am the type of guy who demands sheets be as soft as angel feathers. I have always said "The higher the thread count the better!" Also "If its not 1200-1500 thread count Egyptian Cotton from Bed Bath and Beyond than its too rough for me." So how could $20 dollar sheets compete with Bed Bath and Beyond Sateen sheets that sell for $60-$80 a set not to mention that sometimes you have to pay separately for the pillow cases. There is no way that these sheets are real Sateen they must be rip offs or something. NOPE they are the REAL DEAL!!! Not only are the patterns beautiful and luxe but the sheets are amazingly soft. I imagine the four seasons has these type of sheets in their presidential suites. I don't get how the company can do this without losing money but maybe BB&Beyond has just been ripping me off all these years. In any event I bought three different colors and I will most likely buy the same sheets for my sons bed. Why not for $20 I can buy a new set each month and still feel like I am cheating the company.
